From day one, my goal was simple: create the kind of Egypt experiences people talk about for the rest of their lives. The moments that stay with you long after you’ve flown home. I still live for the smiles I see when someone swims with dolphins for the first time, feels the quiet magic of riding quads through the desert at sunset, or watches the sunrise from horseback on the beach. And nothing compares to seeing someone’s face the first time they stand in front of the pyramids—pure wonder. Egypt is a place that gets inside you. It’s mythical, magnetic, and full of moments that stick forever. I wanted to build a tour company that gives people those moments—every single time.
My story started in retail, where I learned quickly that people from different countries want different things—and they deserve to be treated that way. Then I moved into hospitality, catering to boats and seeing how tours were really put together. That’s where I spotted the problem: too many big groups, not enough personal attention. So I worked on the boats myself, learning firsthand what travelers love, what they don’t, and what quality truly looks like. After years of absorbing everything—the culture, the service gaps, the magic in the details—I took the leap and started Mokly Tours.
Today, the business is growing fast, but after thousands of experiences, my favorite part is still the same as my first tour: seeing pure joy on people’s faces. Being part of someone’s once-in-a-lifetime moment never gets old. And I can’t wait to help create yours.
